When we designed the Honeycomb shooting sock, the sole objective was to introduce some texture and detail to the sock, something we had never tried before. We put pen to paper and started playing with some hand stitches to see if the machinery was able to replicate a three-dimensional pattern.
This is the one sock we wish you could see, touch and feel, it has an opulent appearance and speaks volumes without shouting. Needless to say it is one of our best sellers at the Game Fair!
All come with contrasting garter ties.
Last season we introduced the indigo with forest green and oatmeal top and it sold out in record time - it's back this season. We have also brought two new colours into the fold. We have kept both fairly classic; the bracken is teamed with bison and rioja which provides a classic shooting sock with muted tones.
The second takes the rich golden ochre yarn and teams it with bison and burgundy - this sock will work well with a variety of tweeds.
Take them on plenty of outings Machine wash according to the guidelines below At the end of the season store them in a moth free environment
For your convenience most of the socks in the range are machine washable (please check individual packaging/product details).
However, please follow our simple guidelines to ensure happy socks:
Turn the socks inside out before washing Use a 40°C wool wash programme Use a gentle spin programme Use wool friendly detergent - avoid biological detergents and preferably non-bio's as even these can contain bleaching agents
