Our cotton collection has grown substantially over the seasons and The Chessboard was the first patterned cotton shooting sock we created!
The Chessboard is always a popular style and in the classic green and gold combination it looks stunning. The benefit of a cotton shooting sock is that it will keep your feet much cooler than merino and pure wool which traditionally the socks are made from. This makes the cotton a popular choice for those wearing neoprene lined boots, the early grouse season and shooting abroad, or a milder winter.
The cotton socks can be complimented with a garter from our extensive range if desired.
Take them on plenty of outings Machine wash according to the guidelines below At the end of the season store them in a moth free environment
For your convenience most of the socks in the range are machine washable (please check individual packaging/product details).
However, please follow our simple guidelines to ensure happy socks:
Turn the socks inside out before washing Use a 40°C wool wash programme Use a gentle spin programme Use wool friendly detergent - avoid biological detergents and preferably non-bio's as even these can contain bleaching agents

All returns must be in their original condition with the labels attached and in the original packaging. Goods which are not returned in a saleable condition may be refused a refund or exchange.
We expect you to have kept the original packaging (including the postal box/bag) together with all labels. All products must be packaged in a protective outer.
