All of our socks are entirely manufactured within the UK, using specialist skills and knitting techniques passed down through generations. To knit a sock involves several different processes, many of which are still done by hand.

Premium Yarns +

Our socks are knitted from a variety of yarns, all of which are selected for their performance.

Merino Blend – the blend of Merino wool and acrylic is perfect for elegant and durable socks. This Italian yarn provides unwavering quality and versatility.

When we design our socks, we like to add as much detail and texture as possible; the lady honeycomb is one of our most successful and long-running women's designs.

The three-dimensional honeycomb pattern top is reminiscent of a hand-knit appearance, something which can be very difficult to accomplish with modern knitting machinery.

The full-length lady honeycomb socks are knitted from a Merino wool and acrylic blend and each pair are presented with their own garter.

2024 has brought with it two exceptional new shades in our lady honeycomb; it will be a tough call to choose! Burnt orange is always one of our most popular base colours and we have teamed with a khaki green and linen. Alternatively, our wintery Indigo has been decorated with a warm pale blue and oatmeal, making a cool elegant sock. One for Autumn and one for Winter maybe?!

Care Guidelines+

Please Take Good Care of Your Socks...

Take them on plenty of outings
Machine wash according to the guidelines below
At the end of the season store them in a moth free environment

For your convenience most of the socks in the range are machine washable (please check individual packaging/product details).

However, please follow our simple guidelines to ensure happy socks:

Turn the socks inside out before washing
Use a 40°C wool wash programme
Use a gentle spin programme
Use wool friendly detergent - avoid biological detergents and preferably non-bio's as even these can contain bleaching agents

Returns+

We hope that any product which is purchased through The Shooting Sock Co will meet your expectations. However, if you would like to return any items we will be happy to refund or exchange the product. We operate a 28 day return & exchange policy. For more information please see our Returns page.

All returns must be in their original condition with the labels attached and in the original packaging. Goods which are not returned in a saleable condition may be refused a refund or exchange.

We expect you to have kept the original packaging (including the postal box/bag) together with all labels. All products must be packaged in a protective outer.
