All of our socks are entirely manufactured within the UK, using specialist skills and knitting techniques passed down through generations. To knit a sock involves several different processes, many of which are still done by hand.

In-house Design +

This sock is an original design by our team at The Shooting Sock Co. Our brand identity incorporates expert knitting techniques to produce texture, sublime colour harmonies which can be classic or contemporary and to create something which will add some stupendousness to your sock drawer.

Premium Yarns +

Our socks are knitted from a variety of yarns, all of which are selected for their performance.

Merino Blend – the blend of Merino wool and acrylic is perfect for elegant and durable socks. This Italian yarn provides unwavering quality and versatility.

The Whitley shooting sock is one of our favourite socks and it works so well in so many different colour combinations. The Whitley is our exclusive design and one we are very proud of - a timeless, clean-cut pattern which adds enough detail to an outfit without being too overpowering. The Whitley is finished with contrast colour garter ties. The Whitley shooting sock is a three-tone sock and can be easily matched to a variety of different tweeds.

The Brigade red and the forest green will no doubt look good all season, however, we think particularly on the Christmas shoots!

Last season saw the Whitley soar in popularity; the two colours which were most in demand were burnt orange and thistle... as fast as they came off the machines they were out the door! This season the thistle and the forest green will be heading for retirement to make way for our new colours... Introducing two stunning new additions to our beloved Whitley collection this season! Embrace rich, warm tones with the captivating Whitley in Gold, complete with a vibrant teal blue garter. Care Guidelines+

Please Take Good Care of Your Socks...

Take them on plenty of outings
Machine wash according to the guidelines below
At the end of the season store them in a moth free environment

For your convenience most of the socks in the range are machine washable (please check individual packaging/product details).

However, please follow our simple guidelines to ensure happy socks:

Turn the socks inside out before washing
Use a 40°C wool wash programme
Use a gentle spin programme
Use wool friendly detergent - avoid biological detergents and preferably non-bio's as even these can contain bleaching agents

Returns+

We hope that any product which is purchased through The Shooting Sock Co will meet your expectations. However, if you would like to return any items we will be happy to refund or exchange the product. We operate a 28 day return & exchange policy. For more information please see our Returns page.

All returns must be in their original condition with the labels attached and in the original packaging. Goods which are not returned in a saleable condition may be refused a refund or exchange.

We expect you to have kept the original packaging (including the postal box/bag) together with all labels. All products must be packaged in a protective outer.
