Description
Exclusive to The Shooting Sock Company, the Angus sock in Navy with Ancient Blue and Mulberry is a masterclass in premium sock design and craftsmanship.
Made in Scotland, this top-of-the-line sock features one of the most complex three-dimensional knitted turnovers—an advanced technique that requires remarkable skill. The turnover is crowned with a pom-pom knit top that perfectly simulates the style and feel of hand-knitting, thanks to meticulous machine work.
The deep, muted tones create a sophisticated tri-colour palette that combines classic and contemporary shades, creating a sock that stands apart with timeless elegance and undeniable character.
Knitted from a durable yet soft blend of Merino wool and acrylic, the Angus ensures optimum comfort, moisture management, and resilience in all conditions.
To elevate the look, an optional matching tri-colour garter tie can be added. Available in UK sizes 8 to 14.5, this sock is made for the discerning shooter.
Our socks are knitted from a variety of yarns, all of which are selected for their performance.
A Merino wool and acrylic blend is an ideal yarn choice for shooting socks, combining the best of both fibres. Merino wool offers excellent warmth, breathability, and natural moisture-wicking properties, keeping feet dry and comfortable during long days. The addition of acrylic enhances durability and elasticity, helping the socks maintain their shape and resist wear over time. Using Italian spun premium yarn ensures a soft, high-quality finish with consistent strength, making these socks both luxurious and long-lasting for all your adventures in the field.
