What makes these socks rather special is the way they are knitted. Unlike conventional hosiery, our wide calf designs are produced using specialist knitting machinery and a fully fashioned construction, allowing each sock to be shaped to fit the leg and foot rather than simply relying on extra stretch. The Harris, with its traditional cable-knit design, has become a firm favourite, whilst the Wye features a cable pattern throughout the leg. Both are knitted in Britain using a comfortable blend of Merino wool and acrylic, with the attention to detail and craftsmanship that we value so highly. Available across UK shoe sizes 5.5 to 14.5, they offer a practical solution for those who have previously struggled to find shooting socks with enough room through the calf.
