The Harris Petrol Blue socks are expertly crafted for wide calves up to 25”, with fully fashioned construction to ensure a flawless, seamless fit that feels bespoke.

These socks will suit nearly everyone – because comfort and style should always go hand in hand. Made in the UK from blended Merino/Acrylic yarn, they’re lighter in weight than traditional designs and durable while still packing in all the comfort you need. Classic ribbed legs and that heritage cable top keep things unmistakably “Harris”. To really set off this colour, we suggest pairing with the optional Nasturtium & Petrol Blue garters, bringing out the best of both rich shades in a striking combination.

Our socks are knitted from a variety of yarns, all of which are selected for their performance.

A Merino wool and acrylic blend is an ideal yarn choice for shooting socks, combining the best of both fibres. Merino wool offers excellent warmth, breathability, and natural moisture-wicking properties, keeping feet dry and comfortable during long days. The addition of acrylic enhances durability and elasticity, helping the socks maintain their shape and resist wear over time. Using Italian spun premium yarn ensures a soft, high-quality finish with consistent strength, making these socks both luxurious and long-lasting for all your adventures in the field.

For your convenience most of the socks in the range are machine washable (please check individual packaging/product details).

However, please follow our simple guidelines to ensure happy socks:

Turn the socks inside out before washing
Use wool friendly detergent - avoid biological detergents and preferably non-bio's as even these can contain bleaching agents
Use a 30°C wool wash programme
Use a gentle spin programme; 600 rpm or less, is ideal.
Dry flat after washing

Delivery

UK standard delivery is free on orders over £50 and usually takes 3-5 working days. We also offer next-day (including 10:30am), Saturday, and Sunday delivery for UK addresses. Orders must be placed by 2pm the previous working day.
