The Harris in Aubergine is a personal favourite of ours — a deep, rich purple that really stands out in the best way. It’s a colour that looks fantastic in the field, especially when paired with the steely tones of the optional Bison garters.
Like all our Harris socks, this one stretches comfortably to fit calves up to 25”, perfect for sportsmen who want that classic look with a great wide calf fit.
Knitted in the UK from our carefully selected Merino/Acrylic blend, it’s soft and a little lighter in weight; made with the precision of the fully fashioned construction — a careful design that means a seamless fit and foot sizes from UK 5.5 up to 14.5, ensuring everyone can find their perfect match.
The ribbed leg and traditional cable top give it that heritage feel we love, alongside the comfort and support you need out shooting. For the finishing touch, we recommend the Bison & Aubergine garters — they add a subtle but striking look that complements the Aubergine perfectly.

For your convenience most of the socks in the range are machine washable (please check individual packaging/product details).
However, please follow our simple guidelines to ensure happy socks:
Turn the socks inside out before washing
Use wool friendly detergent - avoid biological detergents and preferably non-bio's as even these can contain bleaching agents
Use a 30°C wool wash programme
Use a gentle spin programme; 600 rpm or less, is ideal.
Dry flat after washing
