Description

The Kyle shooting sock is an understated sock, with its contrasting trim made in a soft Merino wool acrylic blend with a fully reinforced foot area. The Kyle has a fleck in the socks which is a result of the marled yarn and this adds a warm tone.

The Kyle is a popular choice and looks great on the moors. The Highfell colour oozes warmth with its brown marl leg and wildbroom contrast on the turnover and teamed up with the basket weave wildbroom garter makes it look even more earthy.

We have given you the option of choosing a basket weave garter with all of these socks to add more character and texture.

Our socks are knitted from a variety of yarns, all of which are selected for their performance.

A Merino wool and acrylic blend is an ideal yarn choice for shooting socks, combining the best of both fibres. Merino wool offers excellent warmth, breathability, and natural moisture-wicking properties, keeping feet dry and comfortable during long days. The addition of acrylic enhances durability and elasticity, helping the socks maintain their shape and resist wear over time. Using Italian spun premium yarn ensures a soft, high-quality finish with consistent strength, making these socks both luxurious and long-lasting for all your adventures in the field.

For your convenience most of the socks in the range are machine washable (please check individual packaging/product details).

However, please follow our simple guidelines to ensure happy socks:

Turn the socks inside out before washing
Use wool friendly detergent - avoid biological detergents and preferably non-bio's as even these can contain bleaching agents
Use a 30°C wool wash programme
Use a gentle spin programme; 600 rpm or less, is ideal.
Dry flat after washing

Delivery

UK standard delivery is free on orders over £50 and usually takes 3-5 working days. We also offer next-day (including 10:30am), Saturday, and Sunday delivery for UK addresses. Orders must be placed by 2pm the previous working day.
