Description
Add a splash of sophistication with the Olive & Regal Red colourway of the Penrith shooting sock. This colour is the most traditional in the collection, embodying classic British shooting heritage. Featuring the signature subtle two-tone pattern and traditional ribbed leg, these socks are knitted from a premium blend of 80% wool and 20% nylon for comfort and resilience all day long.
Made in Great Britain, they offer great value as an entry-level patterned sock. Enhance your style and fit with the optional contrasting regal red garter tie. A trusted choice among beaters and pickers-up seeking durable, classic socks with a bold colour statement.
Our socks are knitted from a variety of yarns, all of which are selected for their performance.
Wool is an excellent choice for knitting socks because it is naturally breathable. Known for its impressive strength—often compared to steel—wool yarn provides remarkable durability without sacrificing softness or warmth. Its natural crimp creates air pockets that offer superb insulation, ensuring feet stay cosy in colder temperatures. Additionally, wool’s elasticity allows socks to fit well and retain their shape over time, making it a practical and comfortable option for everyday wear.
