Our socks are knitted from a variety of yarns, all of which are selected for their performance.

Merino wool is an excellent yarn choice for shooting socks thanks to its superior softness, breathability, and natural moisture-wicking abilities. It helps regulate temperature by keeping feet warm in cold conditions and cool when it’s warm, while effectively managing sweat to prevent discomfort. Merino wool is also naturally elastic and durable, providing a comfortable fit that holds up well to the rigours of long walks, making it perfect for high-performance socks.

For your convenience most of the socks in the range are machine washable (please check individual packaging/product details).

However, please follow our simple guidelines to ensure happy socks:

Turn the socks inside out before washing
Use wool friendly detergent - avoid biological detergents and preferably non-bio's as even these can contain bleaching agents
Use a 30°C wool wash programme
Use a gentle spin programme; 600 rpm or less, is ideal.
Dry flat after washing

Delivery

UK standard delivery is free on orders over £50 and usually takes 3-5 working days. We also offer next-day (including 10:30am), Saturday, and Sunday delivery for UK addresses. Orders must be placed by 2pm the previous working day.

We have extended our returns policy for Christmas 2025. Orders placed between 25th November 2025 and 22nd December 2025 can be returned to us up until 16th January 2026.
