Our shooting socks for wide calves are always in high demand – most shooting socks are a classic 4 x 2 rib, which is a tube. Our wide calf socks are not knitted on a traditional hosiery machine but a flatbed machine. This means they are fully fashioned and the leg has shape built into it – this provides an entirely different fit, allowing comfort up to a 25” calf.
Our women’s shooting socks are knitted from a foot size 3½; we offer a wide range from single-colour socks, which make great welly socks, to elaborate knitted detail tops with matching garters in various colours. It is worth noting that many of our socks in other departments are unisex and some start from a size 3 – we recommend using our sock finder if you cannot find what you’re after in our ladies shooting sock department.
