Delivery & Returns

Our socks are knitted from a variety of yarns, all of which are selected for their performance.

Wool is an excellent choice for knitting socks because it is naturally breathable. Known for its impressive strength—often compared to steel—wool yarn provides remarkable durability without sacrificing softness or warmth. Its natural crimp creates air pockets that offer superb insulation, ensuring feet stay cosy in colder temperatures. Additionally, wool’s elasticity allows socks to fit well and retain their shape over time, making it a practical and comfortable option for everyday wear.

For your convenience most of the socks in the range are machine washable (please check individual packaging/product details).

However, please follow our simple guidelines to ensure happy socks:

Turn the socks inside out before washing
Use wool friendly detergent - avoid biological detergents and preferably non-bio's as even these can contain bleaching agents
Use a 30°C wool wash programme
Use a gentle spin programme; 600 rpm or less, is ideal.
Dry flat after washing

Delivery

UK standard delivery is free on orders over £50 and usually takes 3-5 working days. We also offer next-day (including 10:30am), Saturday, and Sunday delivery for UK addresses. Orders must be placed by 2pm the previous working day.

Christmas Returns:
We have extended our returns policy for Christmas 2025. Orders placed between 25th November 2025 and 22nd December 2025 can be returned to us up until 16th January 2026.
