Description

Experience exceptional comfort with The Chelsea, crafted from luxurious extra fine Merino wool. Revered for years in our collection, these socks feature a classic trellis knit top available in eight timeless shades.

The Chelsea sock combines traditional British craftsmanship with modern knitting technology to comfortably fit wider calves. The Moss Mix marled yarn is an earthy multi-tone yarn which can be worn with many different tweeds. We have teamed it with an optional almond garter tie for a neutral tone.

Delivery & Returns

Our socks are knitted from a variety of yarns, all of which are selected for their performance.

Merino wool is an excellent yarn choice for shooting socks thanks to its superior softness, breathability, and natural moisture-wicking abilities. It helps regulate temperature by keeping feet warm in cold conditions and cool when it’s warm, while effectively managing sweat to prevent discomfort. Merino wool is also naturally elastic and durable, providing a comfortable fit that holds up well to the rigours of long walks, making it perfect for high-performance socks.

For your convenience most of the socks in the range are machine washable (please check individual packaging/product details).

However, please follow our simple guidelines to ensure happy socks:

Turn the socks inside out before washing
Use wool friendly detergent - avoid biological detergents and preferably non-bio's as even these can contain bleaching agents
Use a 30°C wool wash programme
Use a gentle spin programme; 600 rpm or less, is ideal.
Dry flat after washing

Delivery

UK standard delivery is free on orders over £50 and usually takes 3-5 working days. We also offer next-day (including 10:30am), Saturday, and Sunday delivery for UK addresses. Orders must be placed by 2pm the previous working day.
